Reflective Practitioner
The Reflective Practitioner project was a professional development bursary scheme that supported artists to develop their practice within a structured, reflective environment.
This booklet follows up thirteen of the fourteen practitioners three years on from the start of the project, looks at where they are now, and considers the scheme's impact.
ArtsMatrix Mentoring Scheme Evaluation Day
In 2005/6, ArtsMatrix ran a mentoring scheme for professional artists working in any art form and based in the South West. Forty-four artists took part in the scheme and each benefitted from up to 50 hours contact time with a senior practitioner in their field.
In February 2007, ArtsMatrix ran an evaluation and reflection day for mentors taking in part in the scheme. This report, written by Gill Nicol, summarises the findings.
The ArtsMatrix Mentoring Scheme 2005-2006 was run by Creative Skills on behalf of ArtsMatrix and was funded by the European Social Fund.
